Two Investors Want to Withdraw from IKN, Following SoftBank, Luhut: There is Even More

akarta – Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Panjaitan said there are many countries that are interested in investing in the National Capital City (IKN) of the Archipelago. This is related to rumors about two other investors planning to withdraw from IKN.
According to Luhut, the US and Saudi Arabia were curious and had time to ask him about investing in IKN Nusantara. He said the government opened the door for anyone to enter there.

“Yesterday there was also a rich man from the United States, they asked me. But I think we are open to any country,” said Luhut while reviewing the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail project in Purwakarta, Wednesday (30/3/2022).

“Then, Saudi Arabia also asked yesterday, because yesterday I met with the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Muhammad bin Salman, he also asked to invest in IKN,” he continued.

“Regarding the IKN collaboration, what is certain is that our collaboration with Abu Dhabi is US$ 20 billion for the IKN Nusantara Indonesia project.

Luhut emphasized that the issue of leaving IKN investors no longer existed, in fact Luhut said, in the future it would increase.

“I explained earlier. So, don’t make IKN issues investors leave. In fact, there are, even more investors,” said Luhut.
